My heart needed 3 more minutes!

You’re absolutely not gonna believe what happened to me AFTER I literally spent my early morning hours taking dictation from the Lord. We wrote on the subject of “Destination: Oneness”. I finally got to a resting place in the writing when, ALL OF A SUDDEN, the nastiest, most ungodlike, hateful thoughts rushed in and clamored for attention!!! For a moment, I was so shocked and disappointed. Then God told me to read what I had just written. A huge smile – inside and out – replaced the insidious, fleshly attack. I glanced at the clock and saw that the entire mesmeric episode lasted approximate 3 minutes! My heart needed 3 minutes to catch up.

Just needed 3 more minutes!

Never in a bad mood

I often wonder about people who stop by in prayer to visit with the Lord from time to time, usually when they need something or when they want to fulfill a daily routine to get it over with. stopping by to pay a visit what does that mean? I live in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit lives in me. There’s no stopping by there’s no ok thanks and see you! there’s only God and his kingdom and me. I don’t need to say hey God its me now who else would it be? being at one with Jesus is like your arm and your hand and your legs and yes even your meddlesome head are one! there’s no need to tap tap tap on the door of the Holy Spirit there is no door! there’s not a moment of separation between yourself and your spirit – ever! that’s how closely aligned you are with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit, with Daddy God! do you ever feel he’s a little bit ticked off at you? You’re wrong – he has never been ticked off at you ever! He loves you and guess what he is love!

There are some people (like me) who enjoy probing deeply into hidden Bible images and meanings. But this is NOT NECESSARY for an intimate relation with God. Nor is it even necessary for gaining knowledge from the Word, found in the Bible. The Holy Spirit is sufficient to guide you in your walk with Jesus and in your study.

“A matter of semantics!”

It boggles the mind how “a matter of semantics” (subtlety of linguistic meaning) can tear people apart whose beliefs are otherwise compatible. Is God moved by faith? I thought his work was completely finished.

I exercise faith when I sit on a chair without inspecting it to determine its safety. Strictly speaking I “choose” to breathe the air that God has provided. God’s kingdom is advancing by virtue of the fact that in reality it’s already here; and faith enables us to wake up to the realm of the real.

Gradual growth in Spirit reveals Never under Mosaic (carnal) Law

I’d like to try right here to clarify for myself an issue that I believe is causing a lot of unnecessary upheaval in the hearts of earnest seekers of truth. We grow gradually in our awareness of the spiritual realm of God. As we do so, we find ourselves less and less fascinated by worldly pursuits. We also find healings and what the world calls “miracles” to be more and more commonplace as His nature unfolds to us. The whole issue of sin becomes moot as we discover that, in fact, WE WERE NEVER UNDER THAT CARNAL (MOSAIC) LAW in the first place!
