Subject-object relationship = only an appearance -RSpira

It’s not possible to view the world directly from awareness’ perpective. Awareness Awareness needs the finite mind to know the world. It’s like It’s like being asleep at night and dreaming of something like a Caribbean beach. You don’t dream of this beach from the perspective of your finite mind wherever you are. Within the dream your mind has to simultaneously dream the Caribbean beach and dream you entering it. From this perspective your mind knows the inside of itself as the outside world. Your Your mind can’t go to the Caribbean beach directly. It has to have the dreamed character of yourself. Consciousness cannot view the world directly because consciousness is infinite and there is no Room in the infinite for the finite. If there was a little bit of the finite and the infinite the finite would displace the infinite and that would be impossible much like CS saying a speck of dust in the absolute would be tantamount to abject blindness or something like that. The big difference between our separate self dreaming and consciousness dreaming of us is that we can only have one dream at a time but consciousness can have innumerable dreams – in other words us – at 1 time. The subject object relationship are the tools with which consciousness manifests itself. We are the consciousness’ dream. The separate self is the tool for the consciousness to manifest itself within the dream. This This is so prevalent in so many myths such as Christianity’s God leaving itself and going into humanity. The price it pays is that it loses itself and SEEMS to become a temporary separate self. No there is this world that I have been cut off from my self or from my source and I long to go home. But this isn’t really true. That’s why all separate selves suffer the consideration is suffering. It’s temporary impermanent finite the suffering that says that I want to go back to who I really am. This This pain of wanting to go back is what dictates the behavior of all 7 billion of us. The difference between us here and the rest of the world is that we have failed or we have been failed so many times that we just simply want to go directly to our true selves without going through the process yet again. We We want the same thing as the rest of this 7 billion of us. We want our original self divested of all else. We We want consciousness which is another name for peace and happiness and self.

April healing -rjs

I lost my sister when she was 19 – auto accident – no warning, suddenly the light of my life – gone! She was 11 years younger than me. Very, very bright, compassionate leader in every way, loving, beautiful – gone! Shocked to the core! When my mother called to tell me, she prefaced it with “We must remember that God is Life.” I clung to her preface for my dear life and God took me through the “grieving process” miraculously!!! . I was told by many, many people that I was a tremendous inspiration to them. This glorious healing is available to anyone who asks. April, my sister, is always with me – in a very happy way.

Free from throes of matter -rjs

The amazing miracles that Jesus performed have no easy explanation … not in this realm where matter reigns. But quantum physics and especially Einstein have demonstrated time and again that “matter as such does not exist.” Once free from the throes of matter, Jesus’ miracles start making sense. He was literally in another dimension or another universe right where everyone saw him in our third dimension. In Spirit, all good is possible.

Resistance to absence of matter! -rjs

RESISTANCE TO HIGHER SPIRITUALITY
Don’t think for a moment that Spirit, God, ‘Creator’ of the universe (of Spirit) describes itself in cryptic language just to make your life miserable! That couldn’t be further from the truth!
There is no easy way to use a language – any human language – and explain issues of a non-human (non-mortal) nature. But the hard, cold fact is that humans are in essence mentally lazy. They hear earth-shattering truths but fail to follow them to a substantial conclusion.
“Matter as such does not exist.” So spake Einstein. But the world goes on and on ad infinitum with nary the slightest doubt as to the solidity, the all-pervasiveness and absolute dominion of same. It’s as if our mighty mortal man would quell the very knowledge gleaned by quantum- and astro-physics in the name of getting on with their summertime slumber.

Dreaming the universe -RAdams

This universe is a dream just as
when you are dreaming. No one can
ever tell you that the dream is a dream
as long as you are dreaming. Yet you
awaken from your dream, and the
dream never existed. It came
out of you and it returned to you.

This world in which we live is the
same thing. There is absolutely no
difference. You are living the mortal
dream. Consequently, great sages
have told us we have to identify with
Consciousness, with the Absolute
Reality, not with what is going on.
The only freedom we have got
is not to react to anything,
but to turn within and
know the truth.

There is no matter. -Max Planck

THERE IS NO MATTER AS SUCH
As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clearheaded science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about the atoms this much: There is no matter as such! All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. . . . We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.

Talk to yourself about stopping the mind -RAdams

“[Stopping your mind is] so easy and yet so hard. The reason it appears hard is because you have become attached to your way of thinking, you have been attached to person, place and thing for so many years. You’re attached to your memories, to your body. This is the reason it appears difficult.

But when you begin to understand and realize there is no body, there is no attachment, there is only total freedom, the mind becomes totally annihilated. This is something you have to work with yourself.

This is something you have to talk to yourself about, something you have to see for yourself. Seeing is being. As you begin to see the great truth, that you are the imperishable Self, the mind will automatically run away and become dissolved.”

Self-knowledge, I, myself, key to happiness & peace w/o practice -RSpira

LIVE, INTERACTIVE WEBINAR WITH SPIRITUAL TEACHER RUPERT SPIRA, 40-YEAR NONDUALIST. HIS TEACHERS ARE KRISHNAMURTI, RUMI, RAMANA MAHARSHI, ROBERT ADAMS, JEAN KLEIN, *FRANCIS LUCILLE.
AWARENESS NOT ONLY LIES IN THE BACKGROUND OF, BUT ALSO PERVADES, ALL OF OUR EXPERIENCE.
It’s It’s not necessary to deny or repress or get rid of any experience. If we go deeply into the heart of any experience we find our true self there, peaceful. Awareness like the physical space in the Room in which you are sitting it’s always the same whether you were 10 years old or now.
AWARENESS = CONSCIOUSNESS = SELF
3 TERMS RUPERT USES INTERCHANGEABLY.
AWARENESS IS PRISTINE, PEACE, HAPPINESS, UN-RESISTED.
DON’T MAKE A PRACTICE OUT OF ANYTHING. IT’S TOO LATE FOR AWARENESS TO BE RESISTED: IT JUST IS.

Follow the I, not healing -RAdams

“We always imagine somebody’s going to heal us. We go and see all these healers, psychics, channelers, everybody in town. We want advice from psychic readings. We want to know what’s going to happen to us. What can possibly happen to you, if you were never born to begin with? You have no history. You are pure consciousness. Forget about healings. Forget about psychics. Forget about readers and channelers.

Look to your Self for the answers. Everything is within you. Learn to be still. Find out who’s worried, who fears, who’s unhappy, who’s depressed, who’s sick and you will say, ‘I am, but who am I?’ and follow the I to its source. And the ‘I’ will disappear of its own accord. The realization will come, that you are Absolute Reality and that all is well and everything is unfolding as it should.”

~ Robert Adams (20th century American Advaita mystic)
