Does anyone ever tort? All I ever hear are retorts. Who is doing all this torting, and why don’t they just do it right the first time? John Weldy

If you have an unhappy thought

  • an unfortunate feeling –
    Don’t beat up on yourself
    Try beating the illusion
  • the whole hypnotic world mind.
At least that’ll make you laugh!!!

In my experience and observation

In my experience and in my observations of others, I find that enlightenment comes incrementally. Yes, we get a sudden huge awakening that changes everything in our lives and feels like ‘the final one’!

Then we settle into it and enjoy its effulgence and glory for quite awhile. Little by little we get faint glimmerings of more unfoldment up ahead.

We turn to our vehicle – our human life – once again to make more necessary adjustments out of the world where flesh once reigned. We either (1) get pulled back into the illusion and its concomitant hypnotism or (2) see through more and more of the deceptive nature of the human life.

Choosing the latter (which precious few of us do) we are ready to soar far beyond our selves of 5 years ago. 10 years ago. 50 years ago. We can literally see the markings (like trees have) on our soul which indicate our preparedness.

Plethora of “How to…”

THERE’S A PLETHORA OF LOVELY “HOW TO HAVE A BETTER DAY” APHORISMS OUT THERE.
But I don’t wish anyone a better day or even a better human life!
I wish we would all use our vehicles (our situations in life) to go deeper … much, much deeper … right straight to the heart of God.
When we (seemingly) have a need, our attention has been gotten! Now if we’d only do what we should’ve done in the first place – contact Spirit, God, within and as us – our little day and our little life will fade into perfect, eternal, blissful immortal life to be joyously shared with all whom we love.

Severely smitten

I’ve been so severely smitten by the power and love of God that I want everyone to know some hard, cold facts. While the Truth of God is true across the board, precious few will ever real-ize (make real) it. People have been lulled to sleep by the notion that everything will be alright.

Not in this world!

In this world where you have trees and grass and animals and people … especially people!… you have discord, disease, death. The inevitable nature of people is to put off any serious undertaking until … in most cases … it’s too late. Every person that you see in your mind’s eye is capable of awakening but very few do in their present lifetime; then they have to come back and try again and again – maybe for thousands of years – when all they ever needed was to wake up. I don’t know how to say this more clearly: NO EFFORT IS REQUIRED TO BECOME WHAT YOU ALREADY ARE – THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS (THE SUBSTANCE, LIFE, BE-ING) OF OMNIPRESENT SPIRIT, GOD. BUT FOR MOST PEOPLE A GINORMOUS EFFORT IS NEEDED TO ACTUALLY WANT TO WAKE UP SUFFICIENTLY.

Most important msg

A MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR YOU: If you’re truly on a path leading yourself and everyone who might follow you out of the chaos of the world (hypnotism) you’ll be shocked by the “dropping away” of all materialism! It will jar you at first. It will hurt … until you realize “silly me! – that’s the dropping away that’s alluded to repeatedly in all our holy books!” Stay with your path and trust it. Keep separating others’ fearful reactions from whom they really are – so that You can continue to see clearly. People will disappoint … until disappointment is no longer in your spiritual vocabulary. Keep plodding forward right out of the miasma that was your life (with a small ‘l’). People will require coddling: don’t give it to them – give them divine Love instead. Let them know that there is nothing on earth or in heaven that supercedes eternal life right now. Let them know there’s an effort to be made – an angst to be grappled with – before they can begin to see the Light.
Then bid them adieu.

Various paths & methods

VARIOUS PATHS and METHODS

You cannot force yourself to believe anything that doesn’t make sense. The entire task before us is to learn what we already know thoroughly enough that believing it becomes a moot point. When we know that we know that we know it’s absolutely true then we don’t need to worry about whether or not to believe it anymore and we can concentrate on processing and accepting it down deep within our soul.

There are various levels of spiritual apprehension. Some factors that ‘seem’ to weigh heavily are language proficiency, levels of openness, awareness, receptivity and a genuine desire to experience an entirely new way of Life.

ONE, ALL, ‘All-One’, ‘A-U-M’, I AM.
All Holy books and teaching declare that Spirit, God is Life: Lao-Tzu, Christ, Zen, Koran, Buddha, Talmud, etc.

The word “Christ” doesn’t have to be a problem to you at all. You may be coming from a place of pretty much hating the whole construct and I don’t blame you – that’s what religion has done to it. it’s organized religion as well as taking mysticism literally (physically) that is so hideously detrimental. You can substitute other words for Christ but you may start to miss out on the real intended message that cannot – I repeat cannot – be found in any – I repeat any – religion! You could think of CCC when you think of Christ: Corrected Christ Concept. Once you step out of the body-mind, there is no “into.” Step out equals awaken: it’s the same thing. And Christ = The Word, the universal begotten Son = all of us, since forever.

SATTORI (Jap) Zen. Also The Word. The whole secret. Enlightenment. When your human consciousness which wasn’t spiritually enlightened becomes illumined, that’s SATTORI. You always had it but now you are fully aware and free.

When you’ve been engrossed in many issues in the world as we all seem to need to be and you realize you haven’t been thinking in terms of The Word, Spirit, Christ, Soul, God, Self, then you do need to step out. Whether the image of ‘stepping out’ is helpful to you or not is entirely up to you. I belabored it for some time and then I realized that “step out” equals “awaken”! – it was just that instantaneous! But when I was swimming in the mesmerism and hypnotism of the world it seemed as though I needed to make a conscious and conscientious effort to step out of all the stuff that I was knee-deep in. The moment I just simply mentally stepped out, I became fully awake!

TO. BE. OR. NOT. TO. BE.
Make an effort? Just rest? Use the mind? Overcome the mind? How to heal? How not to try to heal?

Let’s not get caught up in an over- abundance of language and terminology. For example, some will argue that Soul is a very Important concept, saying that it’s much more than a concept: it’s a definition of God so it’s a definition of Us. I happen to agree with them as it’s very helpful for people who subscribe to it and are open to it. Others will argue that it is confusing because it admits of error, is of the body and the body’s mind. I’d simply chalk that off to low level Interpretation, in view of the fact that ‘Soul’ is an actual synonym of God and therefore all the attributes of Soul, which is Spirit, are your attributes and your abilities and your talents.

Taking the theme of various levels to its obvious conclusion we necessarily realize that we live between two worlds when we have an infinite world and a finite world. Guess what? We’re all living between two worlds, never quite aware that we literally have our eternal life right now!

But tell me this: what could be more happifying than to discover that you will never die? That you will live forever? In a brand new perfect spiritual body? Wow!!! Still think you lost or wasted many precious years of your life? Your ‘material’ life? Let’s imagine your eternal life is for 1,000,000 years and you lost 10-20-30 years of it. Can you do the math? It’s infinitesimal! Your life is eternal, but when will you awaken to that incredible truth?

What do you treasure most?

WHAT DO YOU TREASURE MOST in this world? Yes, it is a trick question! Remember Abraham … I used to pretty much hate that Bible story when I was much younger coz I didn’t have a clue …

What do you treasure the most in this world? Now I get it. Everything in this world dies. But we can exit this world long before we have to contend with that. Then “that” will no longer hold any sway over us. So,

What do you treasure the most in this world? You’ve got to be willing to give it up. Is it your good looks? Your power over others? Your money, your spouse, your puppy?

What do you treasure the most in this world? You’ve got to be HONESTLY WILLING to give it up. I think I’ve said enough.
