And preach some more
And when you’re done
You go about your affairs
Uplifted a bit but basically
Pretty much unchanged?

James 1:22-25 KJV
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein , he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
BALANCE
Recently before I got my waterline run from the road I had to transport water to my property for the camper, plants, animals and construction needs.
I bought a 550 gallon water tank and sat in on my 16′ trailer. I filled it up at the concrete plant and headed home.
The 20 minute trip took over an hour! The trailer fish-tailed so badly I almost lost control of the truck! I stopped by a gas station and the gentleman at the next pump (a local I’m sure is on farmersonly.com) offered his advice.
“<<>> I betcher havin’ trouble pullin’ hit, aintchu? <<>> yometelluwhy?” I nodded.
“Hit’s too fer back! <<>> Scooter up towards the front. Setter right cheer over the axles. She’s gotta be balanced iffn ye wanna puller more ‘an 5 miles an air.” <<>>
Be shore an keeper on the hitch til she’s empty! <<>> iffn ye don’t, that there tongue’ll go straight up in the air like seesawing with a fat boy!<<>>” ( for those of you who may be interested in how he learned this lesson, he grew up with an overweight cuzzin his mother made him play with. His Daddy built them a seesaw and gave it to them one year for Christmas. They were very poor and it was the only present they got that year. He didn’t have any friends but his cousin would come over to play and every time they got on the Seesaw he just sat there up in the air looking down at his cousin who was sitting on the ground. For those of you who are wondering how the cousin is doing now, when he got to be a teenager he fell in love with a skinny girl and it Inspired him to lose weight. He worked out really hard and lost 150 pounds without an operation or going on the TV shows about losing weight. Everyone was so proud of him in the whole family. They had a beautiful wedding and as soon as she said “I DO” he went back to eating. He is now Fat again and everyone is thankful that they do not have a SEE-SAW! LOL LOL)
I had already figured out I had it positioned too close to the back. I was thankful he told me about the see-saw!
BALANCE
Webster says Balance is the state of having your weight spread equally so that you do not fall. : the ability to move or to remain in a position without losing control or falling. : a state in which different things occur in equal or proper amounts or have an equal or proper amount of importance.
I have spent the last several years bringing some Balance into my life. I was WAY out of balance in my thinking in so many ways.
The main problem was that I had never learned to question, research, listen to my heart and draw my own conclusions. I was a puppet who believed everything I was told by preachers, friends in my circle of people who were all like me and radio talk show hosts. I had very few original opinions.
I tripped, fell and landed facedown in pig-sh#@ some years ago and was so surprised to see those I thought to be friends and family respond to me with the “left-foot of fellowship.”
My TRUTH set me FREE from most of my world.
Alone, I began to question EVERYTHING!
I have drawn MANY conclusions that are very different from the way I used to believe.
BALANCE
That is a real key to safety and progress in hauling heavy loads. We need to think more about Balance in our lives beginning in the center of our soul.
I have learned to question things I used to believe.
I have made a decision not to believe anything I’m told, little that I read and half of what I see! Lol
All information must be filtered by inspiration.
My heart knows the truth and I’m learning to let my heart lead me.
Every human has the ability to Center themselves.
YOU can spend time in thought, prayer and meditation and draw honest, truthful conclusions.
YOU can lay to rest untruths that have you unbalanced.
YOU can start TODAY and bring peace and plenty to your world.
Get in touch with reality, spirit, truth and honesty that is found in the process of centering.
Everything is not black and white. (That idea originates from the knowledge of the tree of good and evil.) I have found more truth and peace in the gray!
Don’t compromise what you believe. QUESTION what you believe! Set aside everything you learned second-hand. Start over!
The TRUTH is a TREASURE you discover, WITHIN!

A friend of mine told me today that their entire life was influenced by the Bible and that it was the clearest most concise book ever written. As an example they quoted Moses and said “Thou shalt not kill. That is plain and simple. How hard is it for people to not get that??”
Sometimes….. I am a smart alec.
My answer went something like this:
Yes! Don’t kill! Of course there are exceptions clearly laid out in the Bible!
It’s ok to kill IF you are dealing with someone who does not listen to the priests Deuteronomy 17:12.
It is ok to kill witches Exodus 22:17.
And of course you can kill gay people Leviticus 21 verse 3
Don’t forget about fortune tellers! Kill them! Leviticus 20:27
Exodus 21:15 is very clear that we should kill anyone who hits their father.
Leviticus 21 verse 9 says to kill anyone who curses their parents.
Adultery? Leviticus 20 verse 10 says kill them! Leviticus 21:9 says to kill the fornicators. Exodus 22:19 says to kill those who follow other religions. Wow! Sounds like ISIS!!!
Second chronicles 15:12, 13 says to kill non-believers.
Zechariah 13: 3 says to kill false prophets.
In Deuteronomy 13 we find out that it’s okay to kill an entire town if there’s one unbeliever in the town!?!
Deuteronomy 22 tells us to kill Brides who do not bleed on the sheets on their honeymoon. Exodus 31 tells us we can kill people who work on the Sabbath!
Isaiah 14 tells us that we can kill the children of sinners. Wow!
The Bible is really clear about that one!
THE BIBLE! An inspirational book that must be rightly divided and applied only by the spirit, within. It is the word of men….about their view of the God of the Jewish religion.

Good morning, LOVE!
Smother me!
Marry me, carry me, cover me!
Fill me up, overflow,
Pour from within!
So there’s a clear trail left
Wherever I’ve been!
Last week I stood at the brink, again….
The sea of depression… Beckoned me in…
I wanted to drown in the waves of despair..
To give up and pretend that nobody cared…
Then I slowly remembered my purpose for being..
To SEE what I SEE and, then, SAY what I’m SEEING…
To bring understanding to those who would seek..
To love every person, to comfort the weak..
If it was just ME… I MIGHT just jump in…
But, I am connected to family and friends…
So I waved at the waves… and hit ” re-set ” again…. Amen

If the world were to awaken to Neville’s degree of Consciousness, the ever-present Kingdom of God would be seen in all its glory and Christ Jesus’ finished work would become clearly visible to all.

Whatever circumstance that you may be going through, consider the work of the Lord. Everything around us is meant to work together for our good. Even if, from our limited perspective, we ask God, “How is this working towards my good?”
Life seems difficult because it is through the trials and tribulations that rare characteristics, as refined gold, can emerge from our innermost being. These characteristics are born from adversity, and are tools that we use further on down our journey of life. Are you experiencing a trial? As Graham Cooke says, “Consider it as an upgrade!”
We move from faith to faith, and glory to glory. Faith is always a now thing. However, the faith that sustains us now is constantly growing and expanding. The rate at which our faith is constantly growing and expanding is in direct proportion to the amount “needed” to meet whatever demand that arises. This is the nature of Grace. It comes at us in waves that is referred to in John 1:16 which says “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.” From this understanding, we can “learn” to never fear. As David says “I have been young, and now I am old, but one thing has stayed true, I have never seen the righteous forsaken, or seen his seed begging for bread.”
So in this time of seeming uncertainty, take heart and DO NOT FEAR! We are crossing a threshold into new ways of understanding the God that resides in us. We cannot use the manna of yesterday to sustain us today. We must trust that whatever we need will arise as we stay in faith. The key is to not look outside of yourself, but look to Christ, in you, the hope of glory, which has taken up residence in your heart. We are in for quite a ride, but you have been well equipped for this race. Believe this, and it shall be so…….selah……….

Sickness has power
Disease has power
Bullets have power
Bombs have power
EXCEPT WHEN THEY COME UP AGAINST THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF ONE WHO KNOWS THE TRUTH.
GOD IS THE ONLY POWER.
Temporal power IS power
EXCEPT IN THE PRESENCE OF THOSE WHO KNOW ITS NON-POWER AND WHO KNOW IT CONSCIOUSLY.
THEY HAVE POWER EXCEPT WHEN THEY FACE ONE WHO DOESN’T BELIEVE IN THEM.
The need to spread accurate information about the candidates and the crying need to have God’s allness and ever-presence clearly in mind are not mutually exclusive needs. So immediately someone wants to pipe up and say “What about xyz situation?” to which I retort “What about God?”
SPREADING LOVE TO OTHERS OF
A “Different” Lifestyle
While teaching at a university in New York City, I was the happy recipient of many acts of kindness and comradery on the part of other professors, including a home-cooked dinner invite. I set out for the upper East Side of Manhattan where I was regaled with many fascinating stories about university life there. My hosts treated me with such royalty that I almost failed to notice that their “lifestyle” was rather different from my own. A desire had welled up within me to reciprocate for all their generosity, but what did God want? He said by all means go ahead and show them the same kindness. They requested spaghetti with meatballs and sausage and mushrooms and lots of spices. In preparation I filled a huge kettle with water to which I added a very generous layer of oil to keep the spaghetti from sticking. When my two guests arrived they got comfortable in the living room – just a few feet from the kitchen where I had brought the water & oil to a ROLLING BOIL. Upon lifting the kettle to move it, it slipped from my hands and fell back on the stove. Water and oil (did I mention a “rolling boil”?) splashed out everywhere – all over the stove, fridge and ME! My face and arms were covered with boiling oil-water! But … I .. did .. not .. feel .. a .. thing! Nothing whatsoever! I reached behind me and grabbed a towel without saying a word to my guests since there was no reason to alarm them. Finally one of them got up and came into the kitchen and looked around at the water everywhere. She didn’t say a thing and neither did I.
(THERE WAS NOT A TRACE OF BURNING SKIN, BOILING OIL IN THE FACE, EYES, NECK, ARMS. NOTHING WHATSOEVER!)
I’M GOING TO GO OUT ON A LIMB HERE and say that we all enjoy thinking and talking about God – and that is wonderful – but it is a very, very different thing to think AS God. It totally takes your breath away. It shakes you to the core and an awful lot of junk falls off. Not letting go for a split second, not allowing anything whatsoever to interfere, we encounter more shaking whereby we’re ready to help in the process and offer up long-term, cherished but erroneous thoughts and then more and more fall off. We wouldn’t DARE talk or even think the way we used to … EVER AGAIN !! Oh, what glorious rewards ensue, kind of like God-kisses!
