“EMERGENCY MODE”: IS YOUR BACK AGAINST THE WALL?
Emergency Mode has a very unusual ring for me: it means to regroup and refocus, putting absolutely everything on track for God. That’s when God is able to answer your most urgent prayer(s).
I wish nothing for you – for your whole life – but great success, excellent health, wonderful friends, etc. I honestly do. But probably if you have all these things you won’t want to continue reading. On the other hand, if you need help, if you Really NEED help, you’re much more likely to open the receptors within that will ALLOW for the possibility that God is alive and well and living right there on the inside of you! How exciting is that!
The unfortunate answer is that it’s usually not exciting at all until prompted by a dire predicament. So, let’s take a moment to thank God for this call on our lives and find out what He really has in store.
When your back is to the wall you are potentially in a very GOOD place and you merely need to cash in on your position. Tell God you’ve had it up to -here- with fiddling around (I’m being polite) with the devil [NEGATIVE, PUNISHING, TREACHEROUS AND DECEPTIVE -T-H-O-U-G-H-T-S- THAT SEEK TO DESTROY]
In the name of Jesus Christ, satan (OUR OWN AFOREMENTIONED NEGATIVE THOUGHTS) may as well go back into the abyss because he’ll only receive the mockery he deserves here. Ask God what He’d like to use you for. I guarantee the rewards will be far greater than you can possibly imagine.

LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION: in your walk with Jesus, in your study of the word, did you or did you not glean understanding little by little, step by step, here a little there a little? And did you not find many corrections along the way where God was finally able to deal with you on a higher level because you had finally completed the levels leading up to it?
Do you know that it is human nature to forget the levels leading up to your present attainment and just expect everyone to measure up to your new level, forgetting that other people have been learning differently than you and not necessarily in an inferior way?
They have been learning similar lessons from a whole different vantage point and for all we know they could be way ahead of you! When you get a great and golden new insight do you ever think just how naive you were about 10 seconds ago? And when you’re busy with self congratulation did it ever occur to you that the other person may be sailing right past you at the very moment?
You thought you had everything all figured out and suddenly you realize that something no longer makes sense. This would be a very good time for you to remember that you are dealing with the realm of the spiritual and we are all mere mortals trying to comprehend the incomprehensible!
RAPE THWARTED MIRACULOUSLY:
She was a college freshman, full of promise and purpose, prepared – as she’d ever be – to give an oral presentation in front of her acting class that day.
Making her usual trek through Central Park to Hunter College, she began to realize that she was quite alone in a rather secluded area of the park, when SUDDENLY, out of nowhere, a man appeared and wrapped his arm around her waist. Panic set in along with one single thought, “God…”
She sized up the situation in a millisecond, took a deep breath and began to BABBLE (meaningless confusion of words) like a lunatic! “You didn’t have to startle me,” she babbled in feigned admonishment; and he responded by tightening his grip on her waist … as they continued walking together.
“If you had wanted to walk with me, you could have just asked me without startling me” she cooed with amazing self-composure. When she became cognizant of her own lack of fear in the face of an ever-increasingly dangerous threat on her life, she had but one thought in mind as they rounded the corner near the lake: “KEEP BABBLING!” – “Where are the ducks? There were always ducks here, you remember? This is the duck pond and I remember I used to always feed the ducks” … she continued babbling incoherently: “I didn’t even know if it was allowed but I fed them ‘cuz they were so cute, … so where are they?”
Around the corner she noticed a steep staircase leading up and out of the park. She knew he had noticed it too by the tightening of his grip on her waist, which prompted her to BABBLE MORE: “Ducks …are… strange… animals … well … I … don’t … know … if … they … qualify … as … animals….”
His grip finally relaxed a bit. IN A FLASH, she darted up the stairs, taking two at a time, until she heard the sweetest sound emanating from below (his screaming an obscenity at her): “YOU B.I.I.I.I.I.I.T…!!
She had reached a safe distance from her would-be attacker. (I can vouch for the veracity of this account as I was the “She” in question.)
Some years later, as I was coaching a Japanese student of mine, the famous actress, Eri Ishida, on how to prepare her lines for an upcoming movie performance, as English practice, I told her this story in broken Japanese and she translated it back to English. Then, rather dismissively I confessed that I had been taking a college course in acting at the time and it wasn’t really myself who was so calm, cool and collected in the face of an inevitable rape and very possible murder. Eri very forcefully countered this argument by asserting, “THAT WAS THE REAL YOU, TOO” and added that this part of my be-ing was under the surface, but very present. “As a matter of fact it’s the ‘you’ that surfaces whenever there’s an emergency.” my loving student advised her teacher!
SEQUEL to “Rape Thwarted Miraculously”:
Many of my students and friends said “Oh, I could never do what you did. Where did you get the courage?”
I explained that I had been keenly aware that my very life was in danger and instantaneously turned to God – where I got the directive to ‘BABBLE’. For another person, it might have been to run or swim or I don’t know what; but God chose to instill in me the gift of ‘babble’ to distract and quell an otherwise horrific threat.
YOUR IMAGINATION CAN HEAL YOU !!
Imagination, guided by the Holy Spirit and faithfully applied, reveals more of Truth than can ever be found dissecting and trisecting so-called ‘physical evidence’ to the contrary.

That pesky negative thinking didn’t even bother knocking: it was right there to greet me with thoughts of anxiety and depression. But I had a comeback for it that sent it reeling: “No, I get to decide what makes me happy, and it ain’t you!”
Many of us approach prayer trying our level best to ignore a grocery list of things that ought to be fulfilled, put right or adjusted because we want to give God our full attention. We want to praise and thank God and try really hard to listen to Him. But that pesky list is still there – clamoring for our attention – while we’re begging God to help us with our list so we can get happy. Well, the demon that needs to be yanked out is the very one that equates happiness with the notion that anything at all needs to change.
“I’m putting you on notice, negative thinking, I get to choose where my peace of mind comes from, and it ain’t from you! No, I don’t NEED to always be able to see things my way. No, I don’t NEED him/her to call. No, I don’t NEED to finish that project. My God-given happiness is right here within me and that makes me immensely happy.”
Quantum mechanics betrays the world’s longest held secret – that the universe cannot anywhere near objectively determine its course nor can it ever be entirely free from extraneous measurement.
As wild and esoteric as quantum physics may seem to be, Newtonian (or, general) physics has it beat and has only to be held up to the same non-deterministic testing procedures.
The way that the world actually functions may need to be held to much greater scrutiny, especially in the quantum realm. When new findings are confirmed, it behooves physicists to reevaluate the entire foundation of both general and quantum physics relative to the new discovery until everything ‘matches’ again.

DON’T THINK FOR A MOMENT THAT LIGHT WILL LOSE ITS FASCINATION FOR MANKIND NOW THAT WE’VE CONQUERED ITS COYNESS – ITS FLIRTATIOUS NATURE OF BEING NOW HERE, NOW THERE, BUT NEVER PINPOINT-ABLE !!
We tried and tried: first a wiggly wave, then a tenacious dot! Such was the nature of our elusive beam of light, but now we’ve got it! Or, have we?

The non-descendants of the lineage of Abraham have received a fully tweaked, greatly improved gospel. It’s intended for everyone without exception, but didn’t make its appearance until Jesus had come back to earth, looking more like a piercing beam of light.
Saul – in spite of all his arrogant abuses on Christians – was the chosen vessel through whom we received Jesus’ Good News gospel. Jesus beheld ‘Paul’ where we limited mortals could only see a faltering and treacherous ‘Saul’. We soon learn to forgive him though as we imbibe more and infinitely more of Jesus’ priceless Gospel.
QUESTION: Did Paul not understand the “grace message?” What’s he saying here?
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. [1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV]”
“Any man” refers to the Romans and Jews of the time, and not to the body of believers whom God protects. Furthermore, the church was facing an imminent tribulation – first from the Jews and then the Romans. We all know the upshot of that terrible period in time: Pompeii fell, and then Rome while the Jews were utterly destroyed in AD70.
WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES TO YOUR MIND, ARE YOU AWARE OF HIS “MOVING” (RACHAPH, greek) OR FLUTTERING, HOVERING, SHAKING ?

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The entire universe (one-song!) enjoys God’s maintaining and sustaining hold, even as it vibrates in a realm beyond what our limited flesh can conceive. How encouraging is that to our feeble attempts to grasp God’s everpresent willingness to guide and heal our lives! Extra-Dimensionality is within us.
