My mind is stayed on God -JSG

YOU CAN LET A PATIENT TELL YOU QUICKLY – AS LONG AS YOU FORGET IMMEDIATELY – ABOUT THEIR PROBLEM.

“We do not take the problem or the person into our silent meditation, but make an effort to have our periods of meditation in which the soul within is completely at rest from all thought of person and thing. When the outer world impinges on our thought, then the reminder comes, “Is this my affair or is it the affair of the Father within?” While we are concerned about that little “I” in relation to an external affair, we are still in the material sense of existence.”

Joel Goldsmith, “Showing Forth The Presence Of God,” Chapter 8, Section: “The Assurance of Divine Guidance.”

Conquer death -Upanishad

Nachiketa asks :
” Is there no way to conquer death ?”

The King of Death replied:
” As long as you identify yourself with the body, which is subject to change, so long will you be subject to the greatest of changes which is called death.

If by some means you could break through this identification with the changing body and learn to identify yourself instead with the changeless Atman, the Lord seated within the Lotus of your Heart, then you would transcend death here and now.”

“Just as rivers, when flowing into the ocean, become one and the same with it, so also he who knows Brahman becomes identical with Brahman.”

All is well literally -RAdams

“When I say, ‘All is well and everything is unfolding as it should,’ I mean that literally. If you understand the nature of the universe, you would realize there’s no time or space. It doesn’t exist except for the ego. If there is no time or space then what appears to exist is the one source appearing as, person, place or thing. As we get deeper into this, we realize that person, place or thing never existed and does not exist at all.

Only the one source exists, which is called nothing, Brahman, sat-chit-ananda [existence-consciousness-bliss], nirvana. Consequently, all is well. For the one source is the ultimate reality, the absolute reality. It is bliss consciousness. This is why when I say, ‘All is well,’ I mean it literally.”

~ Robert Adams (20th century American Advaita mystic)

Test your spirituality status -RAdams

“‘[What is your spiritual status?] I’ll give you one little test to see, … one simple test. What have you been thinking about all day long? Have you been thinking about your attachments, your health, your finances, the world, conditions? That’s it. This shows you where you’re at.”

~ Robert Adams (20th century American Advaita mystic)

Jiva, Brahma, Absolute -NM

N.MAHARAJ: Visitor: What is the exact difference between the Jiva, Brahma, and the Absolute?
Maharaj:” You remove all the names and understand. These are all concepts, a chaotic confusion of words, nothing else. Whatever I tell you, this knowledge is never-ending, it has no beginning and no end. All this is the product of the five elements, and the elements, including space, are substances. Space is like darkness, nothingness, like night. Out of it, vital breath arose as a vibration.
This body has appeared on me automatically, without my willing it, and therefore I became puzzled. What I have experienced is- I am not the matter. That quality of Beingness, knowingness, which is a product of matter, gets extinguished and again goes into the atmosphere with increasing progression and the cycle continues. That Beingness has gone into that state of matter, but it will not stay in that matter, it will take care that it goes back to its state of Absolute subtlety.”

Don’t APPLY Truth -JSG

Stop trying to apply Truth: Attempting to apply Truth is the action of the human thought. Truth is infinite; therefore, there is nothing to which you can apply Truth. It is the reality of being, and there is nothing inside or outside for Truth to act upon: Truth is self-acting and self-operative.
Joel S. Goldsmith
