The presence of God is on the gallows;
the presence of God is on the battlefront
where death and destruction are
imminent; the presence of God is where
every accident occurs anywhere in the
world. The presence of God is in all
those places and circumstances, but the
presence of God is of no avail to anyone
except to those who are dwelling in the
conscious awareness of this truth. We
must abide from morning to night and
night to morning in this realization:
Where I am, God is. The presence of
God is closer to me than breathing; I
and my Father are inseparable and
indivisible because we are one. If I
mount up to heaven, I will find God, not hat I will find God in heaven, but I will
take God up to heaven. If I make my
bed in hell, I will find God, not because God is in hell, but because I will take
God with me; and if I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will find
God because where I am, God is, and
where God is, I am: we are inseparably
and indivisibly one. JSG (The Contemplative Life)
Finally really listening to Herb
I AM FINALLY LISTENING
“Gosh, I thought I was listening before!
I mean I knew you were a voice crying in the wilderness
But I really thought I was hearing you – receiving and responding to
Your message.
Now I realize I hadn’t heard a word of it.”
Don’t we all wish at times that someone would say the above to us?
They’re just not listening!!!
One of the greatest messages of all times, and the world yawns, puts the TV on mute, gets a libation and chew
Ready to “check out” Herb Fitch!
Then they’re irritated coz Herb’s talking slowly … and … deliberately!
“When I finally realized Herb Fitch is the real deal, I began to
PAY VERY STRICT ATTENTION !!
Omigoodness, did he say that?
And that! And that!
I began nodding in agreement to nearly every utterance.
Thank God he was speaking slowly – it gave me a few precious seconds to process
what he was actually saying!!!”
I sure wish I could hear the above from more of my buds
coz then I’d know they were
ACTUALLY GETTING THE MESSAGE !!
Herb Fitch’s message (including, of course, all of Joel Goldsmith’s teaching)
doesn’t pave the way for us to have a better life experience in this world.
It gets us … for the first time ever …
the hell OUT of this world – so deeply asleep in hypnotism –
Soooo deeeeeply a-snoooooze!
Harmonize heart & brain
God is All
Every error, every disease, every loss of harmony, is some gross misinterpretation of some truth, some actuality mis-seen, some spiritual idea misconceived. Although it never alters Truth, it sees Truth through the distorted lens of mortal thinking. But bear this firmly in mind, that it is nevertheless looking right at Truth and telling us a lie about it, telling us Truth is something else. Provided we are clear about this and we fully realize what we are doing, we can always look right at error, no matter what it seems to be, and say to ourselves, “Actually, that is God, for there is only God to see.” If we do this with clear understanding, we will be looking right through error and seeing God, seeing Truth that is actually there – seeing actual Truth that we are being told lies about. There is healing in this thought, but we must be careful that we realize that we are not calling error, God. We live in the mental atmosphere of the divine Mind; but misinterpreted, this atmosphere becomes an environment of mental suggestions which we translate into what appears to us to be material situations and objects.

God is All by Ronald Klette
Religion’s effect
Where in the world do people get the idea I hate the Bible?
The Bible is just a tool, people either use for religious/spiritual growth or control.
It tells the evolving story of the Jewish history, but only up to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70ad.
The Bible tells the story of a segment of humanity’s attempt to define themselves, and attempts to understand God.
But this is only Christianity’s story of Judaism.
The Bible is not even the Jewish story of Judaism.
The Bible is not your story, nor is it mine.
Our story is written on our hearts, our story is God’s kingdom within.
Forever uniting us with our creator and creation.
This was also Jesus’s story.
The Bible is a story closing the chapter on 4000 Jewish years of history’s religious successes and failures.
You can have the mosiac laws, the rituals, the guilt, suppression and oppression and everything else religion offers.
I will simply take Jesus’s story of love and acceptance from our Father, with No stipulations or demands.
Dan Shaffer
Religion – damned religion – is the culprit. It creeps into otherwise benign aspects of connecting with one’s Source. “Christianity”, “Bible”, “prayer”, “communion”, “meditation”, “God”, “worship”, “grace”, “praise”, “faith” all come under the rubric of ‘no longer entirely agreeable terminology’. The real bugaboo is religion, religion, religion. This organized control seeps into every misguided effort to guide and direct people’s thinking on such a profoundly intimate and personal topic.
RJS
True prayer
True prayer has nothing to do with asking for or getting anything: “praying FOR” anything or for any reason is NOT correct because we ARE the very answer we would seek. Praising God is superfluous as God is IN us living AS us. There’s no separate entity whatsoever. Meditating on these – or other – truths, as well as being perfectly still are both forms of truly enlightened prayer.

Control over mind & body JSG
Our meditation will become easier once we realize that we can say to our mind, “Peace, be still.” Some of us have undoubtedly seen pictures, statues, or figures of Lao-tzu sitting on a horse backwards, not facing the horse’s head but his tail. The meaning of this is that Lao-tzu, the mystic, the man of God, has control of his senses. He does not need to hold reins; he does not need to look where he is going. He is in control of his senses and can forget the human element of control. He is a master and, being a master, he does not have to observe material laws by facing forward, holding the reins, or kicking the horse in the sides. He sits there and contemplates.
There are no masters except those who are in control of mind and body. And if they do not have that control, they are not masters. You and I are masters only as we can demonstrate that the mind and the body are under our dominion.
‘This body does not constitute me: this is a body which is an instrument for my use. I am in the Father, and the Father is in me. I am subject unto the Father; I do His will. I do the will of no man; I obey the will of no man. I look not to “man, whose breath is in his nostrils.”
I look not to the favor of princes. I and the Father are one, and I am subject only unto my Father because I do the will of my Father. I turn within and receive instruction and light from the Father.’
Life becomes a matter of introspection and withinness, letting infinite God, good, infinite consciousness, pour Itself through us, as us, without our having to take conscious thought, but always being obedient to its leading. When the Master was on the ship in the midst of a storm and commanded the sea to be still, he was not addressing a storm external to him. The storm was within him. A storm is a mental illusion, a mirage. It is not externalized, and no one can command it to be still. But we can say to the mind that is entertaining an illusion, “Peace, be still. My peace give I unto thee.”
When you want to meditate, say to your mind: “Peace, be still. My peace give I unto thee. The Christ-peace give I unto thee. I bring to thee peace from my Father.” As you find your body becoming unruly, do not be afraid to address the body, although actually it should not be necessary because the body is mind formed and if the mind is brought into stillness, the body will be still, just as by bringing the mind into stillness, the storm subsided.
When you learn there is an I, let I address your mind:
‘Peace, be still. The peace of God be upon thee. I live by the grace of God. I live by God’s government, and so, mind, be still. Peace be unto thee. My peace give I unto thee.’
It will not be long before the mind settles down into peace, because you have asserted your God-given dominion over your mind, not over anyone else’s mind.

Not in the Bible cc
THAT MOMENT…
Maybe you haven’t had that moment yet when you realize almost everything you have been taught is NOT in the Bible.
NOWHERE IN 33,000 Bible verses DOES IT SAY…
– one must believe in order to be born again
– believing in Jesus is required to go to heaven
– that Jesus’ “coming” was beyond the lifetime of those disciples
– that the whole bible is “inspired” (says in Gk, every scripture inspired by God is profitable, not that every scripture is inspired and was talking about the OT not whole Bible)
– that there were three wise men that visited Jesus or that they visited him in a manger as a new born baby.
– that pastors should lead churches (pastor is only listed once in Eph 4 as an “office” but not in a description of any leader)
– that women who get a divorce are committing adultery if they remarry (Jesus spoke of men who “put away” spouses which means to kick them out with no support, would cause them to commit adultery if they married another)
– that church buildings are holy
– that holiness is something one arrives at (be holy meant live from the fact they were already holy)
– spare the rod and spoil the child. (that is a saying not a verse)
– that the earth is 6000 years old
– the word “trinity”… it took about 300 years for that to develop as a theology.
– hell is a real place. (The word hell in English and its meaning from the middle ages are imposed over numerous GK words that don’t mean a place where God forever torments sinners).
– that the gospel was to be preached to the whole planet (it was sent to their “world” ie Jews and Gentile converts within the Roman Empire by the end of the Old Covenant Age… lo I am with you (those disciples) always, even to the end of the age..(AD70)).
– that God killed Jesus on the cross, or punished Jesus in our place or hid his face from Jesus (Not even Isaiah 53… it is not “It pleased the Lord to bruise him” but more accurately ““And the Lord decreed/willed [the] cleansing [of] him of his wound.“)
– the words “spiritual warfare” (Paul said they wrestled against principalities and powers which were governmental leaders and religious systems entrenched with dark spiritual principles, but the bible never uses the phrase spiritual warfare as a method of fighting city wide or personal demons)
– that transgender people are in sin (Jesus actually said eunuchs were welcome in the kingdom, even those “born that way” and went on to say “if you can receive it” ie prejudice was present then too. AND what he said contradicted the book of Leviticus which means you cannot use the OT against LGBT.)
– that there is a future judgement (every verse points to an event in their near future, AD70, not our future)
– that the lion will lay down with the lamb
– that money is the root of all evil.
– that demons/devils cause a person to act against his will (the man with a Legion ran TO the feet of Jesus).
– that women can’t be pastors (there are actually women deacons and apostles in the NT)
– that the wages of sin is death (it says the wages of THE SIN (a noun) is THE death which is singular and speaks of the sin of Adam, not us).
and on and on it goes
I am not interested in crushing your faith, just suggesting you shouldn’t be dogmatic about it. What we can learn to do is value the beauty of the verses on love demonstrated in the life of Jesus which are unparalleled in other literature.

I can’t say enough about “meditation” & listening .. THIS is where transformation takes place. ~Living Life from the inside out..
This is where the strength and courage to be more authentic, and to finally Be the One you were created to Be from the very beginning is realized.
