Years ago I used to read a little, listen a little until I got a warm & fuzzy feeling, thought it was a signal my part was done…

Now when I read or listen to words of wisdom, I meditate, ponder, pray in the Spirit

Self as God

All is Self.
The only difference between “you” and “me”
are the words and concepts of “you” and “me.”
Self in you is the Self in all Beings.
The Source of everything is the same and this is Self,
this is love and compassion.
From Self try to go anywhere.

“I am the ocean and all forms seen
are my waves dancing on me,” this is knowledge.
When waves rise the ocean loses nothing.
and when waves fall the ocean gains nothing.
As waves play so the ocean plays.
I am ocean, I am water, I am wave;
separation between water and ocean and wave cannot exist!
There are no differences, no disturbances, no one to be disturbed.
Giving rise to ‘I’, or any other thought, is giving rise to wave.
Water remains water so allow everything to be, for it is your Self.
As a river discharges into ocean, discharge into what you are:
Happiness, Bliss, Being, Cosmos.
Here is only Awareness,
Here only Self is.

Evolution, reincarnation, Monopoly!

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE BOARD GAME “MONOPOLY”?
Can you temporarily suspend disbelief and say yes in order to continue?
Okay so now you have the right to buy Boardwalk and you have the money to buy it, right? Right.
A few more adventures ensue and you make decisions based on the description of the game. Oops, now you go to jail.
Do you believe you should have had to go to jail? There are awful people there! It stinks! It’s reprehensible. You’re getting flustered! Freaking out! What to do? What to do?
Perhaps the wisest thing would be to re-examine the seductive suggestion put to you in the first place: “Can you temporarily suspend disbelief and say yes in order to continue?”
That ‘temporary’ went waaaay too long. You forgot that you bought in to something you never believed in the first place.
On a seemingly infinitely larger scale the dream of Monopoly (coulda been chess!) like the dream of evolution – or physicality itself – is nothing but a dream.

Two ways to deal with problems

Radical healing

TWO WAYS TO DEAL WITH A PROBLEM:
(1) Start with the problem and flesh it out. Describe it in full detail and enlist others to commiserate with the hurt and pain. Feel safe in a familiar environment.
(2) Start with the answer and steer clear of any focus on the issues or concomitant suffering. Courageously step into an entirely different dimension.
Obviously they’re entirely incompatible. In #1 what is being sought is compassion, sharing the grief and heartache as an experience in itself.
In #2 what is being sought is an awakening to a Consciousness that admits of no pain, sorrow, regret, but only perfection, omnipresence, infinity.
Clearly #1 and #2 cannot be mixed.

THE STONE IS THE KEY TO SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING. WHEN AN INDIVIDUAL HAS THE CHRIST THEY HAVE THE STONE CARVED OUT OF A MOUNTAIN WITHOUT HANDS WHICH DESTROYS THE MATERIAL CONCEPTS OF THE WORLD, OVERCOMING THE WORLD AND RELEASING THE FULL HARVEST OF THE INFINITE INVISIBLE. Identity

All that you see is GOD, LIFE, being made visible. It is absolutely real, but it is passing away even as it comes into visibility. In the dream we have called the visible world “physical”, “material”, “human”, but ALL is SPIRIT and ALL IS GOD BEING. All the visible forms are simply ideas in the ONE and ONLY GREAT MIND we call GOD.

QUESTION: Herb frequently references soul and spirit as the fifth and sixth heavens respectively. I was wondering if anyone could tell me as to how he saw/defined soul and spirit and as to the relationship between them?

ANSWER: Herb draws much of this from the works of Enoch, found in the Pseudographa the dead sea scrolls and other writings which were systematically removed from the Bible. These were the major teachings of the Essenes…the sect which Jesus belonged to and taught.
Enoch’s teachings about the seven heavens is also mirrored in John’s Revelation.
He speaks at length about Enoch, Revelations and the seven realms. I thought the same thing at one point, and one particular talk brought it into focus for me. I’ll have to dig that up for you. (I have the habit of jumping all over the place. lol)

Of course, beyond this, I’m sure he was given inner instruction on these works.
He was put through a period of inner “initiation” to prepare him for the teaching work and, like Joel, received constant guidance throughout.
Oh, here you go.
It’s from living in the 4th Dimension. Talk is called, “Enoch”

I don’t know if this will clear it all up, but it helped shed some light for me, when cross-referenced with Revelations.

There are also many other parallels in the Bible, such as the 7 days of creation.
