A “Different” Lifestyle
While teaching at a university in New York City, I was the happy recipient of many acts of kindness and comradery on the part of other professors, including a home-cooked dinner invite. I set out for the upper East Side of Manhattan where I was regaled with many fascinating stories about university life there. My hosts treated me with such royalty that I almost failed to notice that their “lifestyle” was rather different from my own. A desire had welled up within me to reciprocate for all their generosity, but what did God want? He said by all means go ahead and show them the same kindness. They requested spaghetti with meatballs and sausage and mushrooms and lots of spices. In preparation I filled a huge kettle with water to which I added a very generous layer of oil to keep the spaghetti from sticking. When my two guests arrived they got comfortable in the living room – just a few feet from the kitchen where I had brought the water & oil to a ROLLING BOIL. Upon lifting the kettle to move it, it slipped from my hands and fell back on the stove. Water and oil (did I mention a “rolling boil”?) splashed out everywhere – all over the stove, fridge and ME! My face and arms were covered with boiling oil-water! But … I .. did .. not .. feel .. a .. thing! Nothing whatsoever! I reached behind me and grabbed a towel without saying a word to my guests since there was no reason to alarm them. Finally one of them got up and came into the kitchen and looked around at the water everywhere. She didn’t say a thing and neither did I.
(THERE WAS NOT A TRACE OF BURNING SKIN, BOILING OIL IN THE FACE, EYES, NECK, ARMS. NOTHING WHATSOEVER!)
Think AS God
I’M GOING TO GO OUT ON A LIMB HERE and say that we all enjoy thinking and talking about God – and that is wonderful – but it is a very, very different thing to think AS God. It totally takes your breath away. It shakes you to the core and an awful lot of junk falls off. Not letting go for a split second, not allowing anything whatsoever to interfere, we encounter more shaking whereby we’re ready to help in the process and offer up long-term, cherished but erroneous thoughts and then more and more fall off. We wouldn’t DARE talk or even think the way we used to … EVER AGAIN !! Oh, what glorious rewards ensue, kind of like God-kisses!

A picture of Oneness
Oneness; picture the sphere (no beginning, no end; infinite). You are placed in the center which therefore is also hidden with Christ (Colossians 3:3) And Christ where is he? He is INSIDE the Father. The outer part of the sphere is impenetrable and eternal. There is only ONE now ~ amazing and mind blowing! We now see, hear, speak and live from the inside out!

We want to consider lifestyle change. Whether we are celebrating being healed, as I am, or wanting to pre-empt attacks, our lifestyle enables us to build-up our natural defenses against disease. Even when God has healed us, we need to evaluate the circumstances and determine (with the Spirit’s assistance) if we need to make changes in our habits, our diets and/or lifestyles that will assist us in maintaining our wellness. Jesus told the lady in Luke 8:48, “….Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.” (BBE) That is close, but He actually said, “Daughter, to be of good courage, your belief save” [sozo – to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction) “you, go – INTO – peace” (security, safety, prosperity, felicity).
THE DYNAMIC FORCE IN WELLNESS

Abide in the conscious realization of omnipresence. Romans 8:38-39 tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nevertheless, we must abide in the conscious presence or realization of omnipresence because the very act of not recognizing the omnipresence of God will cause a sense of separation. However, it is not a separation, because nothing can separate us from Him. A sense of separation can and will be a hindrance in our lives. It is important for us to abide in the conscious realization of omnipresence, so that we will never feel separated from Him. “For as he thinketh in his heart [consciousness], so is he”(Prov. 23:7). “…for out of the abundance of the heart [consciousness] the mouth speaketh”(Matt. 12:34). Therefore, there has to be that conscious realization that God is the law of our being, that He is the only power and presence, and Christ is our life.

Reverse the reversal
REFLECTING ON KATHRYN KUHLMAN, I’m feeling blessed to say that I believe I “get it”! I understand why most of her many, many healings – amazing healings that numbered in the thousands, maybe even millions – were reversed.
In a word, the recipients were not changed inwardly and they couldn’t support their own healings. They needed to grow inwardly with a 180 degree shift away from almost everything they believed for years and years and years in order for the disease to keep from coming back!
I don’t say that they needed a lot of time to get to the point of thinking as a healed person and they certainly didn’t need any mental gymnastics to get there but they did need to know the one who healed them, e.g., God, intimately and very, very personally because that’s the normal thing for one who has been so touched by Him to want to do.
Of course if these people who had traveled hundreds of miles to meet Kathryn had managed to make their own physical needs secondary to acquiring an intimate relationship with God, they would have received what they sought and their healing would have slipped in there too as a natural result. And it would have lasted.
We should never have another person do our work for us. We can ask for counsel and guidance but we need to do our own soul searching and develop the spiritual discipline required to effect the miracles we’d like to see happen.

It would be so simple for the world to be at peace, for the world to know abundance, for the world to know true joy but it isn’t ever going to until it is able to discard mortality and put on immortality and that can only come about in one way – to know him aright. And to know him aright means developing that listening ear, developing that inner alertness that is always awake always alert always on guard for the hearing that might come through or the feeling that may come through from within.

Does the word “God” bother you?
If the word “God” gives you any trouble, stop it! Stop thinking about it! Just acknowledge that the life of your being is the God you’re thinking about. You don’t know what that is and never can know because all you can see is the effect of that life. You can feel your heart beating or you can feel your blood flowing. You can feel a sense of love and joy within you,or intelligence, but these are only effects! You have no idea what it is that is being intelligent through you or being loving through you or being generous through you or patient through you. You can’t know that. You can only know effects, but you can acknowledge Him “in all Thy ways”. You can acknowledge that there is something that is your selfhood. And that will stop you from having a god afar off and that will stop you from trying to contact God , that will stop you from searching for God and that will give yourself an opportunity to let God catch up with you and reveal Himself to you in all His glory, in all his perfection, in all his Immortal nature and being, reveal himself AS YOU : the father showing himself forth AS THE SON. God the Father, God the son.” Always remember that: God is the father but God is the Son. “I and my father are one.” “When thou seest me thou seest him that sent me.”

Take that word “I” and look at it. You see now how you could meditate. Realize that I am closer to me than my breathing. I am closer to me than my own hands and feet.
[Robin interjected: God is the Self, the one that does the seeing, the one that does the lifting and the thinking and the feeling and the projecting That’s who I am.]
I who am in the midst of thee is mighty. This very I that I am, the bread of life, the wine, the water, the center from which flows my whole daily Human Experience. The issues of Life are Harmony, peace, Joy, dominion, which flow out from within me affecting my world, my body, my home my Human Relationships, my family, my business and community.
All power is embodied in the I that I am. I may not fear what a man can do to me. I mean I can’t fear what Mortal circumstance or condition can do to me for I am the embodiment of God power. I embody God power, God being, God presence, God dominion. God gave me dominion over all that there is, over the sky, the air, the Earth and beneath the water. I … I embody Dominion. I am Dominion. I have dominion. Do I need anything? I have meat that the world knows not of. I have it, I embody it, I include it. In the I that I am I can feed the multitudes, heal, comfort, and help the multitudes because God has given me Dominion. The spirit of the Lord God is upon me. The whole presence of God constitutes the very I that I am. My being is made up of God. God constitutes the I that I am and by this relationship has given me Dominion. There is no power to act upon me that is outside of me. No power of weather or climate, or food, infection or Contagion, economics, philosophy, theology. They’re not powers external to my being. ALL power is embodied in the I that I already am because this God power is gentle and good and it flows out from me like a benediction to every one who reaches my Consciousness who touches my consciousness be they Friend or Foe, Saint or sinner. I do not need to have desires for I have within the I that I am a power of fulfillment. There can be no unfulfilled desires or wants or needs for I have plenty of the power of Resurrection, the Lost Years of the Locust, and if you meditate that way for some weeks or months or maybe even years you will see that you will reach the State of Consciousness that it will no longer be necessary. You will just sit down and instantly feel the spirit of God upon you. There will not have to be any words or thoughts because the experience of it will be there. When the experience is there you don’t need any words about it or thoughts about it.
