To many, prayer means supplication and petition to a God in a place called heaven. That this prayer has resulted so universally in failure to attain its ends must prove that this is not prayer and that the God prayed to is not there listening. Human thought eventually realized the lack of an answer to such prayers and turned to a search for the true God and the right concept of prayer. This led to a revelation of truth as understood and practiced by Christ Jesus and many earlier revelators. Here we learn that “the kingdom of God is within you,” and therefore prayer must be directed within to that point in consciousness where the universal Life, God, becomes individualized as you or as me.

The “Old (mortal) man” didn’t die: never there JSG
There is that part of us which has never sinned, never been sick, was never born, and will never die, and the activity of God is to reveal that man. To our sense, that may remove sin, disease, or lack, but that is only to our limited sense. It does not really do it any more than light removes darkness. What light does is to reveal the absence of darkness, the nonentity of darkness, the nonexistence of darkness.
So it is that what we call a human being, “the natural man,” has an existence only in the universal mind which is separate and apart from God. The whole of the human experience is an imaginary experience, a dream-experience, taking place in the universal mind which does not have its seat in God.
The proof of that is that in the moment that you can still that mind and open the door for the Spirit of God to come in, that man is not there any more. That man of sin, disease, and death is just as absent as is the darkness when light touches it.
We say that the “old man” has “died” and the “new man” has been “reborn,” but where did the “old man” go?
He did not go any place: he was not there to begin with!

God has limited His doings to the alignment of our consciousness to Him, His Son and Spirit.
Jesus has come back already as we let Him live His Life in, through and as us. I’m not saying that there won’t be some other kind of manifestation of His return. But we’ve gotta KNOW HIM and His return IN US with this intimate relationship that HE DESIRES ABOVE ALL THINGS, AS HIS BRIDE NOW AND HIS SONG OF SONGS.
This kinda consciousness won’t come from the outside in.
Sure this realm is gonna be transformed, but only from the inside of us out.
He’s changing MY WORLD from the inside out, it comes from REST IN THE FINISHED WORK.

Rightly speaking, there is not God and you, but God is ever manifest as you, and this is the oneness which assures you of infinite good. God is the life, mind, body, and substance of individual being; therefore, nothing can be added to any individual, and true prayer is the constant recognition of this truth. Conscious awareness of our true being – of the infinite nature and character of our only being – this, too, is prayer. In this consciousness, instead of seeking, asking, waiting, in prayer, we turn our thought inward and listen for the “still small voice” which assures us that even before we asked, our Father knew and fulfilled the need. Here is the great secret of prayer, that God is all-in-all and God is forever manifested. There is no unmanifested good or God. That which we seem to be seeking is ever-present within us, and already manifested, and we need to know this truth. All good already is, and is forever manifested. The recognition of this truth is answered prayer. Our health, wealth, employment, home, and harmony are then not dependent on some far-off God, are never dependent on a channel or person or place, but are eternally at hand, omnipresent, within our very consciousness; and the recognition of this fact is answered prayer. “I and my Father are one,” and this accounts for the completeness of individual being. Properly speaking, there is not God and you. It is impossible to pray aright unless this truth is understood; and unless we know our real relationship to Deity, prayer becomes but blind faith or belief rather than understanding. It is our conscious awareness of the oneness of Being – the oneness of Life, Truth, Love – that results in answered prayer.

The common practice of most believers is to pursue an intellectual (academic) search for answers to validate their beliefs. For example, you refer to Jesus as God’s Son. That’s textbook perfect. What you have missed, what the natural mind cannot grasp on its own, is that you are that same Son–One Life in the Father. The Life within you (your Essence or Spirit), is the same Christ-Nature that is seen in Jesus.
We’ve never been shown in church how to let go of our identity as individual person, so we continue to believe ourselves to be separate from God. You cannot be separate from God because God is LIFE Itself. Believing alone, unfortunately, will not get you there, because believing is all done with the mind. While you are figuring all this stuff out, you might notice that within you, there is yet no awareness of your ONENESS in God, which is what Jesus came to reveal. “Father, I pray that they may be one as we are one”.

Chi energy fields vs Holy Spirit GR
The universe is very much like a big wind-up clock, or better, a wind-up toy. Let’s use your solar system as a microcosm, and we’ll use just one of the so-called forces of nature as an example. This doesn’t explain the entire picture, but it will give you a taste of the ego’s ingenious ways of illusion. Even though energy, which I’ll call chi, is an illusion, it’s very much a part of how the ego takes the script that’s in the mind and transmutes it from invisible thought into invisible but measurable forms, and then into the visible manifestations you see and experience. This really happens all at once, but it’s necessary to be linear so you can better understand it. For instance, let’s say you could look at your planet from outer space, from half the distance to the moon, and that you could see chi. You’d then be able to see that the earth is completely encased by electromagnetic chi that’s carried to it, and past it, in the form of a huge flow of radiation from your sun. This flow of chi is constantly changing, with yin and yang going in and out of balance and everywhere in between balance. The changes in the chi are caused, in turn, by the constantly changing radiation on the sun. Now, if you could look at the sun close up from space, you’d see what could be described as enormous swirling oceans of gas. What few realize is that these oceans of gas behave in a similar fashion to the oceans of the earth. Just as the tides of the earth’s oceans are subject to the movements of your moon, the tides of those solar oceans of gas are subject to the pulling and pushing of the total interaction of all of the planets in your solar system, and even the universe beyond it —which of course is all connected. This causes different gaseous tides, sunspots and other solar events —which in turn regulate the changes in the flow of the radiation while it’s carried to the earth as particles via the solar wind, or directly by sunlight. This changing radiational flow, regulated by the movement within the entire solar system, including the earth and its moon, causes corresponding changes in the chi surrounding your planet and sends electromagnetic fields onto every inch of it. You can’t see these chi fields with the body’s eyes, but they’re everywhere —and you’ve been walking right through them every day of your life. They regulate everything about you, including your decisions and resulting movements. They are actually thought from a completely different level, transmuted into the form of chi, telling you what to think on this level. Everything you do follows from what you think, and sometimes it follows instantaneously, like a reflex.
