No vibrations

N O . V I B R A T I O N S !!

“All motion, all time, all space, all material consciousness is the relationship of one set of vibrations to another set and that is not the world that Christ Jesus walked in. He discovered another world where there is no vibration. My Kingdom is not a world of vibration.”
Herb Fitch

Atomic man can dabble and poke, waft and wane, or simply awaken to the realm of Spirit, God, i.e., One eternal non-vibrating miracle.

Thanksgiving

T H A N K S G I V I N G

“The life of every Infinite Way student should sing the song of thanksgiving daily and hourly, not merely on one day of the year. The real thanksgiving that rings in our hearts has no earthly trappings of blessing-counting. How limited a concept of this deeply spiritual activity it would be to look at the apparent abundance of our human life and stop there with our gratitude!

“No, our thanksgiving reaches the kingdom of heaven itself and rejoices, not in the loaves and fishes, but in the consciousness of the activity of God as our individual being and as the being of all those with whom we have contact. Thanksgiving is a spiritual experience that springs from inner wells of joy. It is the acknowledged fulfillment of spiritual consciousness that rejoices in its own beauty and bounty.

“We are grateful for the abundance of supply, harmony of relationships, and health of body, but we do not let ourselves stop at that level. We sing our song of thanksgiving out of the heart and soul of our Christ-identity which is our assurance of infinity.”

How wonderful to have this glorious Day raised to the real dimension in which it resides! May we all rejoice-a-plenty and savor the bounty of pure infinite Love!

No details! Malpractice

M E N T A L . M A L P R A C T I C E . R E V I S I T E D

There is a good reason for keeping the details of one’s ‘problem’ to oneself: it protects against mental malpractice on the part of spiritually untrained onlookers. Remember if loving thoughts and prayers could have a beneficial effect upon another person or situation, it stands to reason that unloving, judgmental or malevolent thoughts might unwittingly or deliberately visit a deleterious effect upon same.

Convo with Spirit

B R I G H T N E S S

Had a kinda strange convo with Spirit this morning. Without any provocation, I declared that yes I wouldn’t mind being a few degrees happier and I wouldn’t mind having a little tweaking of this and that issues and I wouldn’t mind . . . .
What was my point? I didn’t want to have a single annoyance or discomfort removed or favor granted UNLESS it was to further awaken me to Universal Love, Spirit.
And I meant it. It felt awfully good. I knew I was onto something, but I honestly didn’t know what!
For what it’s worth, what had begun as a kinda nondescript ho-hum, alright – lousy day, brightened up so brilliantly that I confess, I’m bedazzled!

Dissolving material ties

T H E . D I S S O L U T I O N . O F . M A T E R I A L . T I E S

“Illumination dissolves all material ties and binds men together with the golden chains of spiritual understanding; it acknowledges only the leadership of the Christ; it has no ritual or rule but the divine, impersonal universal Love; no other worship than the inner Flame that is ever lit at the shrine of Spirit. This union is the free state of spiritual brotherhood. The only restraint is the discipline of Soul; therefore, we know liberty without license; we are a united universe without physical limits; a divine service to God without ceremony or creed. The illumined walk without fear—by Grace.”

MIXING your philosophical/theological approach to spiritual awakening with psychological/humanistic opinions is a sure guarantee of failure in the long run.

Don’t go to God

D O N’ T . G O . T O . G O D = D O N’ T . D I S C O N N E C T

The Omnipresence of God precludes the necessity of going anywhere physically, mentally or spiritually in order to know perfection. We get to call the shots by virtue of the fact that Spirit, Absolute Perfection, simply is. Joel Goldsmith firmly admonishes us:

“Do not go to God for anything, for that would be an indication that you wanted it in the future. Even if you expected it now, the fact that you are declaring that it was not there a moment ago is taking away from the instantaneity and the omnipresence of God. Instead of going to God, remember that God’s kingdom is intact: now are you the son of God, and God’s kingdom is not of this world. Then refuse to take this world to God. Refuse to take the pains of the flesh; refuse to take the lacks of the pocketbook; refuse to take the inharmonies of human relationships to God.

“In doing this, you do not have to wait to sit down and close the eyes; you do not have to wait for a time of prayer. You can “pray without ceasing.” If you happen to be busy with cooking or housekeeping or if you are a businessman out about your business, you do not have to stop for one second, not even to close your eyes or to say a prayer. You can do whatever you are called upon to do and still think, “God’s kingdom is not of this world, and I am not taking this world into God’s kingdom. Therefore, let the tares and the wheat grow together.”

“This can be done twenty times a day, thirty or forty times. No time element enters into this, and no waiting. You will not wait until next Sunday to thank God. You will thank God where you are—in the tub, in the shower, in the bus, or at business, wherever you may be—and bring instantaneity into your experience, so that your life becomes a dedication to gratitude, for gratitude is that form of love which best expresses the qualities of love. And what do you have to be grateful for, if not the truth that God is, that God is now, that God is where you are, and that all of this exists in this glorious minute when now are we the sons of God!

“As you let gratitude flow out from you for this joyous experience of realization, you then find how it is that love is a healer, that love is a way of life, that love is the Source of all life, and that this love best manifests itself through your gratitude. Your gratitude must not be because someone gave you something or because of some external condition: your gratitude must be that there is an infinite, invisible, spiritual kingdom which is intact. Once you separate this world from My kingdom, then this world starves and destroys itself. It becomes a nothingness because of its own nature.”

Joel S. Goldsmith
Living By The Word: Chapter Ten Let the Tares and the Wheat Grow Together
A New Way to Pray Without Ceasing
Kindle 182-183

When we say (notice I said “when” and not “if”) we’ll meditate or pray about something, we’ve inadvertently put it off. Joel’s term “instantaneity” comes to mind. The precise moment we think something’s awry, we must unthink it!

That split second might as well be an eternity if we’re putting off recognizing our absolute perfection Now. It signifies lack of Realization; but we only need to shut “it” down, BE who we are and never look back.

What heals us

I T . N E V E R . H A P P E N E D !!

When we’re talking about Spirit
we don’t need to be dragged down
to the infernal realm of the flesh-
always churning, turning, burning.
Never learning.

God is in the stillness
In the shining and the knowing.
In the laughing eyes of a little child,
squealing “Mommy, Mommy, the pain’s all gone!”

You see, the spiritual realm of God
knows no sorrow, pain or fear
Every atrocity, disease, even death
in Spirit never happened.
And the conscious awareness of
this most amazing spiritual fact
is what heals us!

F E E L I N G . E N L I G H T E N E D . Y E T ?

What happens when you die? That’s quite a leap, but most important as it draws you to the real issue in life: is there anything you can do about it?

The author maintains that there is. The entirely unenlightened masses believe they were born into matter and will pass out of it someday. Such a widespread belief in incarnation begets its sister belief: reincarnation.

Many, many cultures hold that we are fully accountable for all our misdeeds since time was invented although they’d use another term than ‘invented’! To them, taking care of our karma is a fulltime preoccupation.

Then there are those of us who revel in being unborn, ergo, undying. But do we have the slightest inkling what we’re talking about? Do we grasp eternal life at all? Or do we mouth sweet platitudes while inwardly wailing “Help Thou mine unbelief (kjv)”?

One thing is as clear as the nose on my face: eternal life is not for some people and not others.

BUT IT CAN SEEM TO BE SO.

That’s where our enlightenment comes in. If we believe with every fiber of our body that we live, move, and breathe in a material form, it will be so for us. Would you agree with that?

So both schools of thought uphold life before birth and after death. But the notion that when the Grim Reaper visits, we’ll be swept up into a paradisaical sublimity is starting to wear thin. When will I get to the point of what we can do?

Right now. We live out our beliefs, good and bad. But believing is also wearing very, very thin. It behooves us to open our awareness full tilt and allow a deep and abiding foundation to undergird our awakening.

Awakening to what? Eternal life, palpable and absolute: there’s nothing more reliable. That’s curtains for reincarnation and its horrible karma and it puts the kibosh on a dreamy, holier-than-thou meritocracy reuniting in the sky.

WE’RE NOT STRIVING FOR ETERNAL LIFE – THAT’S A GIVEN. WE’RE STRIVING TO TRULY WAKE UP TO IT.

There. That’s it. That’s what needs to be done. By us.
