Proof that God heals

Answered Prayer!

(A) i can prove God doesn’t heal.
(B) how?
(A) he has never healed me.
(B) have you prayed without ceasing?
(A) well, no.
(B) have you, in all humility, asked him?
(A) not exactly.
(B) what exactly HAVE you done?
(A) nothing. just waiting for God.
(B) God’s part is done.
(B) God created you perfect.
(B) God is on the inside of you.
(B) right now you’re breathing God.
(B) when you see, you’re seeing God.
(B) when you hear, you’re hearing God.
(B) when you love, you’ll see you’re healed.

Secular Language Glitches

Language (linguistic) distinctions

HEAR YE !! HEAR YE !!
I put out a “list” of Christian terminology that is undergoing an upgrade. Being a multi-linguist myself (and please don’t tell me they have an ointment for that!), I am painfully aware of secular language glitches that just won’t quit! “I am sure”, It must be” “It has to be” “I know it is” all denote tentativeness, uncertainty! How in the blazes can we ever be sure? Leave out the adjectival phrases altogether, and simply state your case.
Then we need to take into consideration cultural differences. I wanted to thank a guy for his thoughtfulness, and started to write “you’re so sweet”. Then I worried that it might not be perceived like Jonathan Swift’s Sweetness and Light in Nigeria.
Woe is us. Communication is getting more and more complex despite all the shortcuts that telegraphic, internet language and pictographs afford. Haven’t you done the same thing: write – delete – write – delete, and finally go to your gallery and send them a pic instead?

Commanding respect

Religion No More!!

COMMANDING RESPECT
I once followed a pastor
Because his insights were
Most revelatory and new
And he commanded a certain
Kind of respect that drew me
To the safety of his
All-knowing wisdom.
I felt so many illusions
Dissipate from whence they came.
Noticed too that all the precious
Reverence for God and his Son
Was fast departing as well.
Dear friends, don’t get sucked in
To a brand new idol worship.
The Holy Spirit of
Almighty God is capable
Of talking to you quite directly
Up to and until You start
To command respect.

[For my ESL friends: “command respect” generally has a very positive application. However I’m deliberately using it here to denote man’s taking the issue too far, taking it upon himself when it is the purview of God; used like ‘demand’.]

The real you vs. religion

THE REAL YOU VS. RELIGION
Do you ever find a great
big smile come to your face?
For no reason whatsoever?
You want to laugh
or cry tears of joy
or sing or shout?
That’s your awareness of Jesus
inside you, happy as a lark!
Do you ever feel like you
should criticize and condemn
another person for any reason?
THAT’S religion.

Did you make a mistake already today? Think unloving thoughts? Wallow in self-pity? Look down upon anyone? Dwell in fear and doubt a lil bit? Already?? Today? . YOU GOTTA LEARN TO FORGET IT !!!!!
IT’S NOTHING !!! . NO THING, MIND, NOR POWER !!! . ZILCH !!! . ZIP !!! ZERO !!!!! . You can even say to that ‘mistake’ that ‘you’ made: HAH !! Grace has just used you for a major Victory!!

Quantum world

TRULY EXPANDING OUR HORIZONS

God has the capacity, thus, to move and operate along an infinitely long time line, or along as many time lines, infinite or otherwise, as He chooses. He can operate, if He desires, on a time line parallel to our time line or on one intersecting our time line, but He is not compelled to do either. Thus, God has the capacity to cause effects for infinite time on innumerable time lines that never intersect or touch our time line. As such, we could point to no beginning and no end for Him. Since beginnings only make sense where time is linear in some way, God must be a beginning-less Being. He has always existed and will always remain. He never required a causation, or creation, event.
