THE DANCING WU LI MASTERS

In English, which is an atonal language,… different ideograms are written and pronounced the same way. For example, there are over eighty different “Wu”s in Chinese, all of which are spelled and pronounced the same way in English. Al Huang has taken five of these “Wu”s, each of which, when combined with “Li,”produces a different “Wu Li,” each with the same English spelling, and each pronounced (in English) “Woo Lee.” The first Wu Li means “Patterns of Organic Energy.”This is the Chinese way of saying “physics.” (Wu means “matter”or “energy”). The second Wu Li means “My Way.” (Wu means “mine”or “self.”) The third Wu Li means “Nonsense.”(Wu means “void”or “nonbeing.”) The fourth Wu Li means “I Clutch My Ideas.”(Wu means “to make a fist”or “clutch with a closed hand.”) The fifth Wu Li means “Enlightenment.”(Wu means “enlightenment”or “my heart/ my mind.”) If we were to stand behind a master weaver as he begins to work his loom, we would see, at first, not cloth, but a multitude of brightly colored threads from which he picks and chooses with his expert eye, and feeds into the moving shuttle. As we continue to watch, the threads blend one into the other, a fabric appears, and on the fabric, behold! A pattern emerges. In a similar manner, Al Huang has created a beautiful tapestry from his own epistemological loom: PHYSICS = WU LI Wu Li = Patterns of Organic Energy
    Wu Li = My Way
    Wu Li = Nonsense
Wu Li = I Clutch My Ideas
    Wu Li = Enlightenment

I am a living Buddha, divine emptiness -Adyashanti

“Wake up! You are all living Buddhas. You are the divine emptiness, the infinite no-thing. This I know because I am what you are, and you are what I am. Let go of all ideas and images in your mind, they come and go and aren’t even generated by you. So why pay so much attention to your imagination when reality is for the realizing right now?”

~ Adyashanti (20th-21st century American mystic)

God, Spirit, is absolutely ALL; understanding explodes -RAdams

Why not make up your mind to drop the past totally and completely, to forget about the future and live in the eternal now, in the eternal moment, fresh, with spontaneity, peace and love? Why not make up your mind to do this? When you make up your mind to do this something happens to you. Your mind begins to fade away.

The past impressions that have been with you for so long begin to fade away. All of your fears, emotions, anger, sorrows begin to fade away into the nothingness from whence they came. You have only to be aware. To be aware of what? That you are a God. As you think of yourself as a God that notion begins to expand within you.

So you begin to laugh at yourself because you’re able to see and perceive that all of the Gods that ever existed are you, your Self. They are not within you, they are you, you are those Gods. You are Krishna, you are Vishnu, you are Shiva, you are the Christ, you are everybody that has ever lived. It is you. … You are the one that has given life and substance to every condition in this universe.

When you see through everything -RAdams

Everything is sacred. Everything is holy. Because everything is God or consciousness or absolute reality. If anything were not God it wouldn’t exist. Everything that exists is God. Most of us when we think of God we think of only the good things. We think of harmony, peace, love , etc. But in truth God is everything.

God is in the serial rapist. God is in the mass murderer. … The only problem which appears is that you see it differently, that’s all. It is your identification, it is your perception. It is what you see. This is what matters. This is what counts. So, if you’re able to see through appearances and see the reality, how can the appearance hurt you?

Robert Adams

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. [2] There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. [3] Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. [4] Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” [5] While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” [6] When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. [7] But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” [8] When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. [9] As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
Matthew 17:1-9 NIV

It doesn’t really make sense – spiritually speaking – to haggle over terminology which can clearly be seen as “steps” Spiritward. See, right there is a discrepancy: God inheres within, therefore no “-ward”, right? Yes, right, if you’re not missing any ‘walking it out’ along the way! Here’s the kicker: what we perceive as more advanced may simply not be so at all, in the larger scheme of things

Praying for one’s enemies – as weird and loathsome as it may seem – bumps one up and out of the material realm where selfishness and egotism run rampant. It’s not easily accomplished owing to the emotionalism attached and the ease in deceiving oneself; but, if taken over by God, is beyond rewarding!
