Go all the way, throw all away Mooji

If you want to go all the way, throw all away. And right there, there is a joy, a freedom and lightness. Strip everything back to nothing. Throw your attachments, your desires, your needs and immediately you are in a state of total freshness. Total wholeness. Every human being should do this once in a while. The serious seeker develops this unsparing attitude to free their minds from the cholesterol of egoic identity.

Be in that emptiness and you see that emptiness is completeness. And the more you do it, the more you enjoy the effortlessness of it all. Now, you ignore the voice of the interpreter, the journalist, the accountant or the mathematician and in a short while, you won’t want him back. If you want to go all the way, throw all away

From nowhere – Mooji

HAS MOOJI BEEN READING MY DIARY? Lol, I don’t have one, but:

“Nothing has to be wrong for the mind
to launch an attack.
Nothing has to be wrong for it
to make up big stories, out of nothing actually.
There only has to be a seed of a thought
given attention, ‘Hmm, there’s still some separation…?’
And the mind says, ‘You see?
I’ve been trying to tell you!’ and there you go,
sailing off down the road with the unstable
and unreliable mind. It can happen just like this.
The mind doesn’t need any substance or truth.
You can give him anything.
He is like a goat—he eats anything.
And we are quick to believe anything it says.
Our life is chiefly made up of thoughts, interpretations
—and wrong interpretations also,
based upon fear, desire and rejection.
This is why I say: pay attention
to the sense of being—the Self.
Be one with the Self, rather than trying
to pick and choose through
the innumerable thoughts and sensations
that mind tends to see
—which one is true and which is false.
You can spend lifetimes doing this
and you will never come to the end of it.
As soon as you finish pruning this tree,
new leaves are coming.
So don’t waste time cleaning up the mind.
Stay as the Self. As you train your attention
and mind to stay as the Self, the space
in which the mind and person lives vanishes.
Thus you come to experience a completeness,
a contentment in just resting in and as the Self.
And when you are content, the interest
will fall away from these other rooms
and their contents.
The feeling of separation, or even union,
all of this becomes redundant as thoughts.
You simply are. There is a unity in that.
There is a harmony in this.
And where no doubts come,
there is even no need for union or separation.
You experience real unity
beyond even the concept of unity.
This is your natural state.”

In the vastness of being

Leaving the person behind,
in what time zone are you? What date?
What astrological sign applies to you?
Far, far beyond such things is your real being,
yet no distance involved. Look.
You are not ‘becoming’ this,
you are not becoming anything at all,
yet the sense of becoming can arise.
Still, you are beyond that also.
Here, in your sizeless, weightless being, who are you?
For even the sense ‘I am’ is a phenomenon here.
Where are memories, and for whom,
in the vastness of being.

How to Be Quiet – Mooji

Just keep quiet. What does it mean?
‘Keep quiet’ is the same as honouring yourself.
When the mind wants to run, you stay put.
You are not the mind—know this.
When the ego wants to go to the red-light district
of the mind and calls, ‘Come, come and play a little,’
you instantly detect the lie and the temptation dissolves.
Your peace remains undisturbed.
That is what it means to keep quiet.

Ending the delusion – Mooji

You ask, ‘What breaks this spell of delusion?
Is it determination?’ No.
The Self does not need determination.
You don’t need some extra strength,
courage or blessing.
You don’t need anything,
for you are perfect and beyond need.
You are Truth itself, but presently
you cannot step out of
what you always thought of as yourself,
your constructed self-image or self-portrait.
Your mind is not accepting that it is already done.
It is not even done.
It is neither finished nor unfinished.
It just Is.

Finding someone who’s free – Mooji

MOOJI – SAMA

How beautiful and rare to find one
who is free of intentions, desires and needs.
One who has come to that state
which is not driven by the urge to control existence
or become anything.
One’s mind comes to a beautiful place of openness,
silence and peace.
In fact, one does not create such a state;
one simply stops identifying with the projections
of the conditioned mind and so comes to recognise
and be one’s true nature.

Mooji’s background

Mooji was raised in a Christian environment. All of his pointings can be found in the bible. For instance : the inquiry, looking at every thought . The bible says to ” take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. He refers to the Christ Consciousness “our hope of glory Christ in you” . And every thing else he says can be found in the bible. Mooji refers to the Absolute or The Supreme, God. He says that even once we realize self there is one watching this one . Which is the Absolute Supreme Being. God. Mooji said in one of his video’s ” I am not God. I didn’t create all this. We can never be equal to God”. But the bible does speak of Oneness with God. Perfect Unity. Mooji says that he speaks with God and with Jesus. That we are a child of God. The bible says that “eternal life is to know God and to know His Son”. Mooji does not claim to be God. The Supreme. The Absolute. Mooji also says that the Absolute cannot be spoke about. But I believe Mooji has communion/fellowship with the Supreme Being. God. When asked these questions ” How do you connect to God?” and “How do you feel God?” Mooji’s reply was this : ” I don’t have to turn to the left or the right to be with God. Not one breath is taken outside of God’s Being. I am only an image made of energy painting a painting by God. There is no distance. Thee is no distance. There is no way I could escape to be someplace outside of God. Nor even there is the will or the urge. Everything that I o, whether it be right or wrong, takes place in the accommodating presence of the Lord. Thee is so much Love. I can never feel shame in front of God. God is the source of myself, my being, but that source has no distance. God gives me the power to call Him , “Me”. The Light that removes even the smallest shadow of doubt. I don’t have to remember God, and I cannot forget.” End. This shows me Mooji very much has relationship, onesness “with God”. But his pointings seem to stop at the enquiry. Some I see are in the enquiry for years?? Should not our ultimate goal to be All God created us to be? The ultimate communion , fellowship, oneness with the Absolute? The Supreme Being? God ? There is little spoke about after awakening. God is. Should not we seek to go higher IN GOD ? Mooji does speak about going to higher levels but not very often. Since Mooji does quote the bible often He must believe what it says. The bible does say that Eternal life is to know God and to know His Son. Joh_17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Also says we are sons of God. Just as Mooji says “you are a child of God” Joh_1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Rom_8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Is this not our ultimate goal? Mooji has communion/fellowship WITH God. Should not that be our ultimate goal as well? Not just seeing what we are not. And what we are as the Self ? Should not our ultimate goal to be going beyond “Self” to that place of seeing where the Self is also seen? There were three birds in the tree , in the story Mooji told. The bird on the lowest branch busy building it’s nest etc. Then a second bird above that bird on a higher branch watching all that activity. But then Mooji said there was a third bird on a higher branch watching both birds on the lower branches. He said that was the Absolute. Should that not be our goal , to enter into Oneness with that bird? Why stop on the second branch? Communion with the Supreme God. The Absolute is real and possible. Mooji has referred to that many times.
