It’s tradition, habit, upbringing, it is learned behavior and activity of what they think you are suppose to do in order to reach God, they still do not believe that they are one with Christ/God. They still perceive Him as being way out in the cosmos, way out and up somewhere in the sky. Lastly: They simply do not even “hear” what they are saying because it is “AUTO-PILOT” talking and begging!!! It is so hard to let them continue on that path, so we just have to bring awareness in grace as much as possible!!!

I believe that everyone can have a personal measuring rod of his own private discovery that will reveal whether he is a little bit “off” center or not.
We want to be in the center of God’s will, right? Being slightly off means there is some confusion, a tad bit of distress – neatly camouflaged as ‘normal’ and a proclivity toward a touch of mental laziness.
On target, or at the center, however, has me loving every person I can possibly think of with the sweetest, most compassionate understanding imaginable. This sweetness, this compassion, this understanding has precious little to do with human emotions and the like. It’s all about Jesus whose incredible works superceded the natural laws of this present dimension.

Christianity uses this one verse that says: “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”That sure sounds like it’s all up to (and involves) the will of man, doesn’t it? We have to decide. We have to call upon the name. We have to do all these things, but then Paul brings all of that into question and says who could possibly do that? Who would call upon the name of the Lord? He says, “Who can call on him whom they’ve not believed?”“How can they believe in whom they have not heard?”“How can they hear without a preacher?”Then he continues on and he begins to speak about the Gospel of Peace in that section of the New Testament writing. He is NOT talking about our need to believe! Paul concludes the matter in this chapter in Romans with this: “But Isaiah was very bold and saith “I was found of them that sought me not. I was made manifest to them that asked not after me.”This is ALL in the same chapter. Earlier Paul says that the Lord would be available to anybody that asked for him. Then Paul turns around and quotes Isaiah and says that none of that worked. Man doesn’t have sense enough to ask for what he needs. Our will is pivotal in redemption? Really? We don’t even have the ability to ask for what we need! Paul first quotes Isaiah saying, “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”Then seven verses later says, “But Isaiah was very bold and saith, I was found of them who sought me not. I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.”Now, that is the power of God’s will! This is a great example of Paul’s style of comparative teaching.

Very, very often, the Holy Spirit steps in and rescues me from myself. He knows I’ve been wondering if I should have “prayed” over this or that and He reminds me that We have been together non-stop 24/7.
He reminds me that I already know that He has all the relevant information. So He simply speaks. Answers to my not-yet-fully-formulated questions, He simply speaks. Plans for what to do today, to my listening ears, He speaks. Wordlessly, silently, He – in my loving spirit – speaks.
